How does Freelancer.com.br work?

Step 1

Step 1: Create a profile

Subscribe and create a profile. Add references by adding information about past projects and requesting feedback with past employers.

Step 2: Invite other entrepreneurs

Invite professionals you work with or have worked with in the past. Because Freelancer.com.br is an exclusive network you can only add up to 50 professionals. Only invite the best professionals and see who they have added to their exclusive network. We only show you professionals from the network up until 3 levels deep.

Step 3

Step 3: Find interesting projects or hire a professional

See which projects have been placed on the site by the professionals from your network. Show interest in a project and get in touch. You can also find a professional by using the search filter and contact the professional directly or by placing a project. The interested enrepreneurs from your network will respond. In order to be able to contact a professional from someone’s network you must be a member of their network.

Step 4: Expand your network and get feedback

Get feedback after completing a project. You can request feedback from within your account. Expand your network by inviting more professionals to your network. When someone accepts your invitation to connect you will get access to their network as wel.

Step 1

Step 1: Post your project

On our homepage you can find a button: "I want to hire". You can post a project for outsourcing work or finding a freelancer for a temporary position. Choose a title for your project and select the category in which you want to post your project. On the next pages fill in the details of your project and when you're done press „Post project”.

Step 2

Step 2: The right freelancers receive your project

After posting the project one of our employees will validate and approve your project. Once approved we will forward your project to the approriate freelancers.

Step 3

Step 3: Receive offers

When you have received an offer we will notify you via e-mail and/or message on your phone. To receive messages on your phone download our mobile app. Based on the offers and profiles of the freelancers that responded you select with whom to proceed. You can chat with each of the freelancers via our website or mobile app or you can contact the freelancers directly using the contact details that we include with each offer.

Step 4: Select your freelancer

Select one (or more) of the freelancers that responded. In order to do so press "Assign project" at the top of the freelancer's offer. Let the other freelancers know why you didn't select them. All freelancers will be informed of your choice.

How does the CV check work

With our CV checker, freelancers can choose to enhance the profile by having their CV entries and references checked.

Step 1

Step 1: Freelancer adds their CV entries

In the account under "MyCV," the freelancer can add CV entries. A CV entry can appear under the "References" section when it has been verified and feedback has been given by the client.

Step 2: Freelancer adds data to their CV entries

When all of the preferred entries have been added under "MyCV," there is a "Reference Request" link next to each entry. When you click on this link, a pop-up will appear where you can enter information about the previous project or job. The entry fields consist of project name (or job title), location, budget (or salary), and date completed (or date out of service). This is where you should also enter your previous employer/project client's email address and name.

Step 3: Freelancer.com.br contacts references

After clicking "Send," we will send an email to the email address provided asking if the client/employer would like to validate the CV entry. Additionally, the client/employer is asked to provide feedback based on quality, communication, expertise, and professionalism. This way, the freelancer can build references on their profile and increase their visibility and attractiveness for new clients. Profiles that are more complete will place Freelancer.com.br higher in the search results.

Step 4: Validation by Freelancer.com.br

After the client has validated the CV entry and given a rating, an identity check is done on the client through phone number and/or social media verification.

Step 5: CV entries checked

When at least 1 CV entry of the freelancer is validated by the previous client/employer and by Freelancer.com.br, the freelancer gets a checkmark on their profile under "CV check." Subsequently, on the profile under "My CV," it becomes clear which entries have been validated. Under the "References" tab, the entries are displayed, including feedback.

Step 6: Client gets an extra search option

Clients can now quickly see who has validated credentials and specify this as a search criterion when searching the Freelancer.com.br database.

Your exclusive freelancer network

Step 1

Step 1: Invite other freelancers

In your account, under "My Network," you can invite freelancers by sending them an email and/or text message. Invite freelancers you work with or have worked with. By inviting only the best freelancers, you can build an exclusive network. You can invite up to 50 freelancers to your network. This is how we keep the network exclusive.

Step 2

Stap 2: Browse your network or post a project

The "My Network" tab allows you to browse through your network to see who is in the 2nd and 3rd tier of your network. Get insight into the top freelancers in your network. You can also post a project that is only visible to the freelancers in your network.

Step 3

Step 3: Check whether a freelancer from your network has received the invite

To make sure that the person has received your invite by email or text message through the system of Freelancer.com.br, it is best to ask them again personally if they have received the invitation and if they want to accept it. This will increase the chance that they will also become part of your network.

Step 4

Step 4: Invite more freelancers to collaborate with.

To make your network as valuable as possible, we recommend inviting every quality freelancer you know. This will give you both access to each other's valuable network. Your network goes up to 3 layers deep and can potentially reach up to 125,000 freelancers (50x50x50)!
